Family Reading Night at School

Last night the boys got into their jammies and grabbed their pillows/blankets and we went to the school's Family Reading Night. Teachers read them some of their favorite books while they were cozy eating popcorn and listening. Afterwards everyone got to take home a free book too! Lee picked a Spiderman book and Rylan picked Ironman. After we got home it was already time to go to bed. We felt bad they didn't have much time to look at their new books so we let them look at them quietly in their bed for 10 mins. We have been having a hard time getting them to bed and looking at their new books really seemed to calm them down! So I think we are going to try to add that into the routine!

Lee wanted to wear the shirt he made for 4th of July because he thought he might be able to show his friends how we used glow in the dark paint on the stars if the lights were dimmed for stories.
