Easter Morning
This morning the kids woke up early to find Spider-Man buckets with the gifts they got in the mail from grandparents (thank you!) We filled up plastic eggs - some with money (mostly so they can use it at the little arcade here in Long Beach) and some with some pretty tasty (I may or may not have tried a few) natural flavored and colored jelly beans! Between the two of them they have already successfully tried every type of candy and played with every toy! Lee sharpened all the pencils we brought with the new pencil sharpener, painted one of the Spider Man Easter pictures. Played a trick on Nana by taking the fake spider out of the new bug viewer cup with magnifying glass on top and putting it on top of the coffee pot and named his bunny princess. Rylan kept searching until he found the last egg. We didn't have to police them at all about how many eggs each got or which eggs which is pretty incredible. They figured out what was fair and both were happy with it. Now they are playing pretend Mario Smash Bros with their eggs and the coins as points and power ups. It's a beautiful day here! I am sure I will have lot's more pictures to share later :-)
